Damion spillman PTA
Damion has been part of the Wheat Physical Therapy team since March 2017. He is a 2016 graduate of the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Bossier Parish Community College.
He has been involved in sports medicine and physical fitness, health and wellness for most of his life. This Natchitoches native grew up playing several different sports including college baseball. As the son of a PE teacher and coach, he always had a healthy appreciation for the importance of pursuing lifetime fitness. Having suffered his share of injuries and personally experiencing his own physical therapy journeys, his athletic background allowed him to develop an intuitive understanding of body mechanics, a love for the process of getting back in the game, and a desire to pursue a career helping others to do the same.
He remains very involved with coaching his two younger daughters in softball and enjoys working in the outpatient clinical setting with a wide variety of clients. Damion has been married to his wife, Amelia for 23 years, and they have 4 daughters and a granddaughter.
